Interessantissimo il villaggio di Penglipuran e la Bamboo Forest, e il bagno nella cascata. Abbiamo avuto Esa come guida per due diverse escursioni e oltre a parlare un ottimo inglese, è un bravo ragazzo simpatico e con una grande conoscenza della storia balinese. The village of Penglipuran and the Bamboo Forest were very interesting, as was the bath in the waterfall. We had Esa as a guide for two different excursions and in addition to speaking excellent English, he is a nice guy with a great knowledge of Balinese history. I had a great day with Dena. He is very knowledgeable, chill and fun. His english is fluent and he answers all the questions about their culture. He is a safe and attentive driver. Important: to get to the waterfall there are a lot of steps and it can get quite slippery down there. Recommendation to Civitatis: it would help to know the different additional entry fees so ppl bring enough money

Putu was a great guide. He was informative, patient and physically helpful (some of those steps to the waterfall needed help). The waterfall was amazing, but it’s very hard on someone out of shape and old (me). I think you can skip the market and add on a coffee plantation - we added the later and it was great. The tour of the temple was pretty magical.

The driver was really friendly but he didn’t explain much, we had to ask about the things that we wanted to know. We felt it was more like hiring a car with a driver rather than a GUIDED tour.
