Ulun Danu Bratan Temple

Ulun Danu Bratan Temple

Located on Lake Batur, Ulun Danu Bratan is the second most important temple complex of Bali, after the Mother Temple  Besakih.

Built in 1926, the Ulun Danu Bratan temple is located in a magnificent place next to a dreamlike lake.

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is a complex with five temples formed by numerous shrines dedicated to the gods of water, mountains, agriculture, and handicrafts, among many others. Leaving aside the beauty of the temple, the greatest attraction it has is its location, reflected in the lake and surrounded by green mountains.

An unbeatable location

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is one of the most important temples of Bali but, if this was not reason enough to visit it, its absolutely dazzling location makes it one of our top recommendations on the island.
