Electric Bike Tour of Bali Rice Terraces
Visit one of Indonesia's most beautiful natural sights: the incredible rice paddy fields on Bali. Discover a new side of the island on this tour of rural Ubud by electric bike.
Electric Bike Tour of Bali Rice Terraces
You'll be picked up from your hotel at the scheduled time and taken to our Bali office, where you'll hop on your bike to head to the first rice terraces on your route. On these electric bikes, you can explore the beautiful Indonesian island countryside in the most fun and eco-friendly way. Before setting off, you'll make a stop at a traditional Balinese house, where you can buy sandwiches to keep your energy up during your tour.
Pedal through the outskirts of Ubud, a town known as the artistic and cultural centre of Bali. You'll visit a coffee plantation, located just outside Ubud, where you'll get to chat with local farmers and discover the coffee production process here. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the different flavours of coffee and tea!
Climb back onto your bike and cycle deeper into the countryside, down narrow tracks surrounded by luscious greenery and past tiny Balinese villages, until you reach the Tegalalang rice terraces. Amongst these sloping paddy fields - the most famous on the island - you can watch the locals work and learn the importance of rice in the Indonesian diet.
After enjoying the incredible charm and beauty of rural Bali, you'll make your way to a local restaurant for a well-earned meal. The perfect end to an amazing journey!
Finally, you'll be dropped off back at your hotel.
