Nusa Penida Tour & Swim with Manta Rays
Spend a magical day enjoying the tropical paradise of Nusa Penida. Cruise around the island; discover dreamy hidden beaches and swim with manta rays in the crystalline turquoise waters.
Nusa Penida Tour & Swim with Manta Rays
After being picked up from your hotel in Bali, you'll be driven by bus to Sanur harbour, located on the southeast of the island. Here, you'll board your ferry and set sail in the direction of Manta Point, one of nearby island Nusa Penida's most spectacular natural spots. The journey between the two isles lasts just 45 minutes.
Once you've arrived at Manta Point, you'll have around two hours to enjoy snorkelling in the crystal-clear sea. You'll be kitted out with fins and a mask, but it's still hard to prepare yourself for the incredible experience of diving into the waters around Nusa Penida and swimming alongside manta rays! These friendly giants can reach over 18 feet (5 metres) in width. If you respect their space (it is forbidden to touch them), you should be able to see them gliding through the water near you as they eat plankton, their main food.
Following this unforgettable experience, we'll make our way to Crystal Bay, a paradise strip of white sand to the north of the island. Here you'll have free time to take a refreshing dip in the turquoise sea, bask in the sun on the palm-fringed beach or enjoy a lunch which includes rice, noodles and a drink.
In the afternoon, we'll begin our tour around the stunning natural scenery of Nusa Penida. Heading across the island by minibus, you'll visit the dramatic sea cliffs make this one of the most amazing views in this area of Indonesia. You'll also get to see two highlights of the island's rugged limestone scenery: the natural bridge at Broken Beach and the tidal pool known as Angel's Billabong.
Finally, you'll take the return ferry back to the Sanur harbour on Bali, before being taken back to your hotel at around 4 pm.
Hotel Pick Up
The tour includes pick up in the Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak, Ubud and Sanur areas of Bali. If you're staying in Uluwatu, on the day of the tour you must pay a supplement. There is no pick up from other points.
Wild Animals
Wild animals are unpredictable, and if it's not possible to see manta rays on the day in question, we'll still go snorkelling on Manta Point to discover the beauty of the marine depths, and the rest of the local aquatic fauna.
