At the scheduled time we'll meet at the main entrance of the Monkey Forest. In this unique natural reserve, known for its temples and the monkeys that inhabit them, we'll begin our free tour of Ubud.

Although we'll not access the interior of this forest, we'll explain a lot of interesting facts about the reserve. For example, did you know that it has more than 100 different species of trees? And that there are about 340 primates living here?

We'll then go to the traditional handicraft market of Ubud. We'll find products of all kinds, from small Buddhas to bags, dream catchers, or Balinese masks.

Plus, we'll make the most of the visit to learn about the famous street food of Bali and, in particular, of the babi guling. We'll explain how this popular roast pork is prepared and, if you want, you can try it at your leisure.

But the city of Ubud is not only known for its crafts, also it's very popular for its religious architecture. For this reason, we'll visit the temple of Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge. We'll walk by the shrine, learn about the symbolism of the sculptures in the sanctuary and discover some fascinating facts about Hinduism.

After four hours, we'll end the free tour of Ubud next to the Pura Taman Saraswati temple.
